Adding custom tokens
Sahal Wallet supports a wide range of halal tokens by default. If you want to track or use a token that is not listed, you can manually add it as a custom token. This gives you flexibility to manage additional assets directly in your wallet.
How to Add a Custom Token
Section titled “How to Add a Custom Token”- Open the Sahal Wallet app.
- Go to Settings → Manage Assets.
- Tap the + icon on the top-right corner.
- Enter your custom token details (contract address, token name, symbol, and decimals).
- Tap Add Token to save it to your wallet.
- You can also scan a QR code if the project provides one for quicker setup.
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Always verify the contract address from the official project website or trusted source.
- Double-check the token details (symbol, decimals) before adding.
- Be cautious of scam tokens; only add those you trust and recognize.
